I am a student at Sebastian River High School where I am a member of the drum line. As a result of holding up my drum during hours of practices and performances I regularly experienced back and neck pain. Since I have been seeing Dr. Casey for adjustments, massages and cold laser therapy my pain has been relieved naturally without any pills or drugs. I went to see Dr. Casey about 1 year after suffering from a neck injury that I sustained in an auto accident. This was my first experience with a Chiropractor so I had no idea what to expect. Prior to seeking an opinion from Dr. Casey I had been a patient of a Neurologist who had prescribed a potent prescription pain killer and he had me doing a daily at home traction routine. I wasn't getting any better, my neck was always sore, stiff and I had a limited ability to rotate my head in either direction without feeling pain. After visiting Dr. Casey she began a program of applying hot packs around my neck and shoulder area for 10-15 minutes, this was followed by a 20 minute session of neck and shoulder massage by a massage therapist and then Dr. Casey would adjust my neck. I obviously made the right choice by choosing the option of Chiropractic treatment for my condition. After just 3 treatments the stiffness had subsided considerably and within 2 months my ability to rotate my head in both directions was almost back to normal.
